When you think about what embodies Latino culture – you think a strong sense of family, comunidad and of course, passion for song and dance – and it doesn’t always have to be a special occasion either – it’s daily! Most importantly, the arts are embedded deeply in our cultura – weaved into our traditions, society and storytelling. That sabor Latino and orgullo makes us and of course, is passed down by parents, the family – los abuelos, to our children, generation to generation.

So along comes Yasim Coronado Veranes, a busy father, professional dancer/instructor, choreographer who runs a family-ran dance school in Cuba, #YCVDance on Instagram.  Yasim is an instructor of a variety of dance styles and definitely gets his family into the mix! It’s a family affair, a beautiful way of life.

Yasim and his family, ‘Los Coronados’ salsa and urban dance choreography is so fresh and with the backdrop of Cuban barrio, Romerillo Habana Playa provided for the whole world to see. Check it out!

The joy and orgullo across their faces is contagious and of course, the canción tropical (Suma y Resta – El Micha Feat. Gilberto Santa Rosa) with impressive salsa Cubano and urban moves will get you to bob your head in appreciation, maybe get you up from your seat! Bailando Bailando!

Yasim dancing with his family is what we love to see, here at LatinoDad! Gracias Yasim for repping nuestro comunidad con orgullo y sabor!
